RHS Harlow Carr, Harrogate, Autumn
Earlier this week I revisited one of my favourite gardens, the Royal Horticultural Societies most Northerly, Harlow Carr near Harrogate, Yorkshire.
The garden was filled with ornamental grasses and late flowering perennials such as Echinacea, Verbena bonariensis, Miscathus alongside Autumn flowering crocus and the structural seed heads left from summer flowers.
In the woodland the leaves are just beginning to turn and the new willow sculptures nestle on a fresh bed of crisp leaves.
I love Autumn!
